A Guide Who’s Been There

Hello, I’m Dr. Rebecca Gras, a licensed psychologist, clinical supervisor, and business owner with nearly 20 years of experience. I’m also a Boundary Bender in Recovery.

Holding Everyone by Myself

For years, I held space for everyone else,  clients, colleagues, friends, and loved ones,  by myself, while my own needs quietly disappeared. Doing it alone felt like the safe choice. I could control the situation, keep others supported, and avoid conflict or disappointment. I over-functioned in my relationships, disappeared in friendships, and built my business around catering to others’ emotional needs, avoiding discomfort, and not letting anyone down. My energy was drained, and my boundaries were blurred.

The Wake-Up Call

In 2022, a personal health crisis created a major shake-up. I was pushed to confront these patterns. When my ability to hold was limited, relying on care and love from others was not optional, it was necessary. That’s when I realized that my over-functioning and my identity as a holder had never truly allowed anyone to hold me, or love me fully in my raw, vulnerable state.

Rebuilding as Your Valued Self

Through this personal transformation, I developed The Valued Self offering to guide other healers and therapists. I help you explore how your personal experiences shaped your Relational Boundary System, audit how it impacts your relationships and business, and provide personalized strategies to implement sustainable change. This program is designed for those who want deep, individualized support and guidance beyond self-paced training.

Guiding Others Toward Self-Honoring Boundaries

I combine my lived experience with nearly two decades of clinical expertise, supervisory insight, and business strategy to help you:

  • Reclaim your energy and professional presence

  • Set boundaries that honor your value without self-abandonment

  • Understand and shift patterns that limit your relationships and business

  • Integrate your new relational boundary system in practical, real-world ways

Step Into Your Valued Self

In The Valued Self intensives, you’ll work directly with me in two 2-hour 1:1 sessions, with optional between-session support and full access to The Valued Holder training series and workbook. This is for the healer or therapist ready to claim their space, honor their needs, and implement sustainable boundaries while holding others with care and integrity.

What it's like work with Dr. Gras

What stood out most to me was how attuned [Rebecca} was to my own emotional experience in supervision. I’ve never had a supervisor so aware of and responsive to my internal reactions, and she always approached these moments with curiosity and unconditional positive regard.

Through her supervision style, she models what a therapeutic relationship should feel like: safe, compassionate, and collaborative. She encouraged me to take risks and try new approaches as a clinician, and I often found myself furiously writing down her insights and advice.

She is not only a very skilled therapist but also an inspiring supervisor and person. Her presence, care, and nonjudgmental stance made me feel supported and valued. She embodies the qualities of a clinician who genuinely cares for both her patients and her supervisees, and I feel grateful to have learned from her.
