Beyond Scripts: Transforming Your Internal Boundary System

Most boundary trainings give you scripts for saying no.

This training goes deeper.

Why This Training Is Different

In this six-part video series with a digital workbook, Dr. Rebecca Gras,  psychologist, clinical supervisor, business consultant, and Boundary Bender in Recovery,  helps you see why saying no has felt unsafe.

You’ll discover how these patterns continue to shape your:

  • Clinical decisions

  • Time, Emotional, and Energetic Availability

  • Earning potential

Not Just Language

This is not about simply changing your words.
It is about updating your internal relational framework so you can notice:

  • When you override yourself

  • When you overextend

  • When holding others becomes your main source of worth and value

The Framework

Developed over years of practice, supervision, and consultation, Dr. Gras’s framework integrates:

  • Relational psychology

  • Trauma-informed systems thinking

  • Practice and Business sustainability

It is designed for therapists who already understand boundaries intellectually but want to know:

  • Why boundaries collapse under relational pressure

  • How to prevent it

What it's like work with Dr. Gras

[Rebecca’s] grounded, warm, and attuned presence allowed me to take emotional risks in supervision, which was essential to my development. I felt safe enough to be vulnerable about my insecurities, uncertainties, and even mistakes, knowing they would be met with curiosity rather than criticism. That sense of safety enabled me to explore deeper layers of my clinical work, highlighting relational dynamics with clients.

Rebecca modeled what it means to stay present, reflective, and compassionate — qualities I increasingly learned to bring into my own therapeutic practice. Rebecca’s thoughtful feedback and skillful questioning helped me build not only stronger clinical skills but also a more solid sense of my professional identity. Over time, I found myself becoming more confident in my clinical judgment, more trusting of my intuition, and more comfortable navigating the uncertainty that comes with therapeutic work.

Her supervision was not just about refining technique — it was about supporting me in becoming the kind of psychologist I aspire to be. I’m incredibly grateful for the depth, care, and insight she brought into our supervision.

A Guide Who’s Been There

Hello, I’m Dr. Rebecca Gras, a licensed psychologist, clinical supervisor, and business owner with nearly 20 years of experience. I’m also a Boundary Bender in Recovery.

Holding Everyone by Myself

For years, I held space for everyone else, clients, colleagues, friends, and loved ones, by myself, while my own needs quietly disappeared. Doing it alone felt like the safe choice. I could control the situation, keep others supported, and avoid conflict or disappointment. I over-functioned in my relationships, disappeared in friendships, and built my business around catering to others’ emotional needs, avoiding discomfort, and not letting anyone down. It gave me a sense of reliability and purpose, but my energy was drained, and my boundaries were blurred.

The Wake-Up Call

In 2022, a personal health crisis created a major shake-up. I was pushed to confront these patterns. When my ability to hold was limited, relying on care and love from others was not optional, it was necessary. That’s when I realized that my over-functioning and my identity as a holder had never truly allowed anyone to hold me, or love me fully in my raw, vulnerable state.

Strengthening Your Boundaries, Honoring Your Value

This shake-up invited me to make major changes to my Relational Boundary System. From my own experience, I rebuilt my boundaries from the inside out. I learned that self-erasure was unsustainable and was costing me my energy and emotional capacity. Out of this transformation, I created The Valued Holder program to guide others in building a values-based Relational Boundary System that transforms energy, relationships, and professional life. It allows you to co-exist fully in your relationships without losing yourself and to hold others from a place of grounded self-respect.

Guiding Others Toward Self-Honoring Boundaries

Now, I combine my lived experience with nearly two decades of clinical expertise, supervisory insight, and real-world business strategy to guide therapists and healers in:

  • Reclaiming their energy

  • Setting boundaries that conserve and protect self

  • Honoring needs without self-abandonment

  • Creating sustainable relational and professional life rhythms

Cultivate a Self-Honoring Relational System

In The Valued Holder video series and accompanying workbook, I bring this transformation directly to you, helping you build an internal relational system that lets you hold others without losing yourself and make choices from grounded connection rather than guilt or over-responsibility.
